Caen is a commune in north-western France, the prefecture of the Calvados department and the capital of the Basse-Normandie region. Also called the 'town of a hundred bells' and that of William the Conqueror, it played a key role in the Normandy battles, located just a few miles from the landing beaches of the Second World War.
The Bed and Breakfast in Caen offers to visitors the chance to sample the local Calvados liqueur and, of course, the local tripe dish and visit the famous beach resorts of Deauville and Cabourg.
Most of our Bed and Breakfast addresses are approved by the four official networks (Gîtes de France, Fleurs de Soleil, Clévacances, Accueil Paysan) or by the Tourist Board.
