A pearl of a chateau set in 25 acres of listed grounds with ornamental animals, the Martinvast dates from the 11th, 16th, 19th and 20th centuries, war-damage necessitating the waves of restoration. As well as the chateau the grounds house many other picturesque buildings such as the bakery, the dovecote, the stud farm, the watermill. Rooms decorated with period furniture, in keeping with the chateau. Friendly welcome with a personal guided tour of the property.
