The chateau de Manoncourt, a listed building dating from the 17th century, is set in eight acres of leafy grounds. Badly damaged during the first World War, it was rebuilt in 1919-1920 by a local industrialist. In 1924 he engaged the artist Louis Guingot (1864-1948), a decorator, inventor and founder-member of the Nancy art movement, to create the majestic frescoes which now adorn the magnificent reception hall of the chateau. Heated swimming pool. The superb guest rooms are located in the converted stables and outbuildings, the asiatic influence of their minimalist decor creating a peaceful, charming, zen-like atmosphere. The generous breakfast is served in the room, in the Louis Guingot hall or on the terrace, according to guests' wishes. Wonderful welcome with guests' wellbeing of the utmost concern. An excellent address!
