Situated in the 'Périgord Blanc', this old country squire's house has been renovated in typical regional style. Nearby is the Auvézère, tributary of the Dordogne river whose water supplied Henry IV's old forge. The immense fireplace dates from 1680. Priest's garden, English garden, rockery and pond with water irises. The self- contained rooms are comfortable and decorated with antique furniture. The 'brunch- style' breakfasts favour local produce. An enthusiastic welcome by someone steeped in the local culture and traditions. Not to be missed!
