On the Mediterranean of the Côte d'Azur, the old town of Hyères lies 4 km from the sea, separated from the coast by the pine-covered hill of Costebelle, which overlooks the peninsula of Giens. Often referred to as Hyères-les-Palmiers because of the 7000-odd palm trees around town. The fine sandy beaches and rocky creeks are bordered by countryside with a rich and varied flora, mediterranean plants found also in exotic gardens such as the Olbius Riquier park, the Castel Sainte Claire originally belonging to the novelist Edith Wharton or that of Saint Bernard. The Isles d'Hyères also make a lovely destination for a day trip or longer. Bed and Breakfasts in and around Hyères for an unforgattable holiday!
Most of our Bed and Breakfast addresses are approved by the four official networks (Gîtes de France, Fleurs de Soleil, Clévacances, Accueil Paysan) or by the Tourist Board.
