The Haut Rhin is blessed with many vibrant and authentic traditions. It's typical half-timbered houses with their steep roofs give an enchanted feel to its villages and towns. Appreciate the picturesque charm of Colmar, Altkirch, Guebwiller, Mulhouse, Ribeauvillé and Thann. The local dialect, alsatian, passed from generation to generation, is still very present today, attesting to the singularity of the region and its desire to perpetuate its customs. Alsace is a region of festivals: to the normal national festivities are added many local festivals, enthusiastically celebrated. Enjoy these festivities with their traditional dress, music and dances from your Bed and Breakfast and try the local specialties such as wine, beer and, of course, the famous 'choucroute' not forgetting the delicious 'tarte flambée- flammekeuche!'
