Verdant terracing, drystone walls, ancient oaks, the surrounding vineyards, the birds: all this is part of the charm of La Bouquière, a 17th century secluded farmhouse, superbly renovated. A stream with a pool under the trees have been organised for bathing. The self-contained, ground-floor rooms are attractively decorated, in keeping with the house. Breakfast is served in the garden, in fine weather. Friendly, easygoing welcome. An excellent address.
