Bed and Breakfast Bar le Duc
Bar-le-Duc in Lorraine, is amazingly known for its highly rarefied Bar-le-duc jelly, also known as Lorraine Jelly, a red or white currant preserve, deseeded with a goose feather! Apparently it was a favourite of Alfred Hitchcock! Maybe you'll be offered this delicacy in your Bed and Breakfast-anyway, visit the Ville Haute, which is reached by staircases and steep narrow thoroughfares, intersected by a long, quiet street, bordered by houses of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, with its clock tower and chateau remains. Hidden treasures in this corner of the Meuse department!
Most of our Bed and Breakfast addresses are approved by the four official networks (Gîtes de France, Fleurs de Soleil, Clévacances, Accueil Paysan) or by the Tourist Board.
